Privacy Policy

A short, plain-language summary of what TahaTok collects, why, and how your family stays in control.

Who this policy is for

TahaTok is a reading app for Muslim families. Accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian — children read under a profile that the parent sets up and controls.

What we collect

  • Account details you give us when you sign up: the parent's name, email or phone number, and the first name (or nickname) and age range of each child profile.
  • Reading activity tied to a child profile: which books are opened, reading progress, quiz answers, streaks, and earned rewards. This is what powers the read–quiz–reward loop.
  • Basic technical data your device sends automatically, such as app version and error logs, so we can keep the app working.

What we do with it

We use your information to run the app: to show each child their library, remember where they left off, award badges, and let parents manage profiles and billing.

We do not sell your data, and we do not show third-party advertising to children.

Children's privacy

A child profile is created and overseen by a parent or guardian. We only collect the minimum needed to personalise reading and rewards.

Parents can review, edit, or delete a child profile at any time from the Profile screen, which removes that child's reading history with it.

Keeping it safe

Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored on secured servers. Access is limited to the people who need it to operate the service.

Your choices

You can update your account details, manage child profiles, or close your account at any time.
